Holy Cross pupils have performed their show, “Oliver!” this week to a sell out audiences every night. The show has been a tremendous success and left the audience on the edge of their seats. Each night the cast received standing ovations.
The cast featured William as Oliver, Aisling as Nancy, Harry as Fagin, Joe as the Artful Dodger and Max as a charismatic Bill Sykes.
Musical Director, Ms Harrison, said “one of the main reasons that this show has been such a success is due to the phenomenal teamwork behind the scenes. The pupils have worked incredibly hard and supported each other so well. In addition, so many staff have helped to make the production a success, particularly Ms Chapman who worked with the pupils on their musical theatre direction, Mr Boylan, who focused on the dramatic action and Ms Mitchell who choreographed the dances.”
