Holy Cross’s Year Sevens had to be bright for their ‘Wake Up Shake Up!’ Day. The students were asked to don brightly coloured tutus, sweat bands and wigs for ‘Wake Up Shake Up!’ They collected sponsors and also donated £1 each to participate. It’s one of a number of fundraising events that the Year Sevens at Holy Cross have been involved in as they raise money for Macmillan Cancer and Nugent Care over the year. “They’re really doing their school and local community proud” said Head of Year Seven Ms Hardy.
