It all added up for St Gregory’s who used teamwork and problem solving skills to win the Thomas Martland Trophy competition.
It is run annually by the Maths department at Holy Cross Catholic High School.
This year was the 20th occasion on which the event has taken place and eight teams from feeder schools took part. Every feeder school has won the event at least once over the years and St. Gregory’s won back the trophy this year.
The event is supported by Mr and Mrs Martland and family in memory of their son Thomas who sadly lost his battle with cancer.
