Wigan Warriors Scholarship for Ethan

14 September 2018

Holy Cross’s Ethan has secured a prized two-year scholarship with Wigan Warriors.

Ethan, 15 next month, has been at Chorley Panthers since he was four-years-old and went to a Development Camp at Wigan.

From that the full-back was selected for a scholarship.

“I am delighted,” said Ethan. “It will cover me until I leave school and then I want to play rugby full-time.

“I will train twice a week for four hours altogether at Wigan and will also train twice a week at Chorley Panthers.

“We have done well at Chorley Panthers, we have won cups and we were unbeaten in our league last season. I just love playing rugby.”

Ethan’s hero is England international Josh Charnley, another former Holy Cross student.

“I would like to follow in his footsteps,” added Ethan.
