On Friday 29 March, we had a visit from the author Paul Dowswell. Paul writes novels based on the War and is very enthusiastic about his work. He completed a one hour talk to a range of KS3 pupils, who then completed a one hour workshop and produced some fantastic pieces based on what they had heard and discussed during the talk.
Our pupils were well behaved and welcoming to Paul, who complimented them throughout his afternoon here. He was very impressed with the engagement and enthusiasm of the pupils and showed great appreciation to the work they produced. All pupils expressed an interest in Paul and his works – some event purchased copies of his novels.
