On Saturday 25 January 2020, the Head Boy and Head Girl accompanied Mr Murray to the annual Chorley Holocaust Memorial Service at Astley Park. The theme this year is “Stand Together” against the evils of racism, discrimination and anti-semitism.
The Reverend Dean Dr Francis Marsden led the prayers in a multi-faith service. Representatives from the armed forces, police, fire service, ambulance service and schools, along with the Mayor, laid wreaths of remembrance.
Ellie and Nathan then completed readings of remembrance in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall. They represented the school impeccably.
