Ella came back from the Lancashire Swimming Championships with two medals.
Ella came second in the 100m backstroke and third in the 50m backstroke at Under 15 level.
Ella swims at Pioneer 79, based in Accrington.
“I train six times a week and get up at 4am three mornings a week before school,” said Ella. “Backstroke is my favourite stroke.
“It was tough in the county championships but I was happy to medal.
“I have got the qualifying times for the Regionals and I have to get in the top 24 to get into the England/British Championships and that’s my aim.”
